Holistic Discipleship

At Living Fellowship, our hope is to create spaces for us to all grow up in Christ together as we encounter God’s Word in community, approach Him in prayer, and speak truth to one another. We have a high value for holistic, life-on-life discipleship groups, but we know not everyone is in a space or season for these higher commitment groups. To get an idea for how we can best come alongside of you this year in your walk with Christ, we ask that you take a few minutes to read the descriptions of the differences between a Bible study and a discipleship group and let us know which you may be interested in this year. There is not a right or more “holy” answer— we know that so much of this depends on the season of life you are in and what is available. Please note that we currently don’t know times/days for these groups, so for right now—just answer according to what you are most interested in!

  • Short-term (usually 9-12 weeks long)

Time commitment: Low. There might be some optional homework, but more likely a space to show up.

Focused on learning a specific topic or book of the Bible and being encouraged in your walk.

Communal. A good place to get to know other people in the church. New people may drop in and out.

  • Long-term (One year at a time)

Time commitment: Higher. Prepare for weekly lesson, come to weekly meeting, occasionally spend time with leader outside of the group

Focused on your daily walk with God, applying the Word, sharing hearts and lives and becoming equipped to serve

Deep relationships with just a few people.
