Operation Christmas Child

to Nov 19

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is a heartwarming and impactful initiative that brings the spirit of Christmas to children in need all around the world. By filling a shoebox with small gifts and essentials, you can be part of this wonderful endeavor, bringing smiles, hope, and a touch of joy to children who may otherwise go without during the holiday season. It's an opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of these youngsters, and you can join in the effort with a simple act of generosity.

How to Participate:

  • Gather Supplies: First, find a shoebox or you can pick up a container near the welcoming table to pack with gifts. You want to do it with your own container, you can use a standard shoebox, a plastic container, or even a cardboard box. Make sure it's in good condition.

  • Choose Gifts: Fill your box with a mix of small toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and personal notes. Consider including items like stuffed animals, coloring books, toothbrushes, pens, and more. Keep in mind the age and gender of the child you're packing for, and aim for a balanced assortment of items.

  • Include a Personal Touch: You can add a personal note or greeting card to let the child know that someone cares. Feel free to share a message of love, encouragement, and hope.

  • Drop-off Location: To participate, complete your shoebox by Sunday, the 19th, and bring it to the designated drop-off location near the welcoming table. There, you'll find a collection point where you can place your box.

Why You Should Get Involved:

Operation Christmas Child is a fantastic opportunity to spread holiday cheer and share the true spirit of giving. It's a chance to make a positive impact on the lives of children who are less fortunate and may not have access to the joys of the season. By taking part in this initiative, you're contributing to a global effort that extends love and goodwill to countless children in need.

Your small effort can lead to immense happiness for a child somewhere in the world, and the act of giving can be equally rewarding for you as well. So, let's come together as a community and make this holiday season extra special for children who could use a little extra magic in their lives.

Join Operation Christmas Child, fill a shoebox, and make a child's Christmas brighter. Your generosity can truly make a world of difference.
