Next Generation Ministry

What is Next Generation Ministries About?

At Living Fellowship, we believe that the the sound of children in the church is the sound of the Lord keeping His promise that His name would be remembered throughout all generations. Children are welcome in our midst, not just because they are the “future of the church” but because they are the church’s present too. Christ’s church has never been without children.

To that end, we have various age-appropriate classes for your children, but your children are always welcome to stay in the service with you. The curriculum that we are using, Teach Me To Worship, moves through the different elements of a worship service and helps our children to understand the arc of Scripture and their place in God’s story.

It is our prayer that Living Fellowship will be the place where our children meet Jesus.

Nursery

Your infant or young toddler will be cared for lovingly in our nursery room. Our childcare workers will expose your little one to children’s worship songs and stories of the Bible while keeping them feeling safe and content.

Our preschool room is designed for children ages 3-5 to learn through scripture, catechism, stories, and crafts for the duration of the worship service. Each of our teachers is trained to engage your child using age-appropriate, interactive strategies that will get them moving and learning!

Preschool

Children’s Church

Our children’s church is intended for children in kindergarten-3rd grade and is held during the sermon portion of our worship service. Children leave the room right before the sermon and will re-enter for Communion. Children’s Church includes a 25-minute interactive lesson from our Teach Me To Worship curriculum. Children’s church will be using the same curriculum as our Preschool room, but it will be adapted to their age group. So, if you have kids in both rooms, you can discuss the lesson together!

Middle & High School Discipleship

Our Youth Group is still in the building phase! As we grow in members and volunteers, we hope to add a weekly study for our youth. Until then, we have a monthly get-together that will include a Bible study, prayer, and fun!
