Our Vision in Growing to Two Services

FROM OUR SENIOR PASTOR, ANDREW HARWELL

As Living Fellowship Church grows, we recognize that moving to two services is an important step in fulfilling our mission.

Beginning Sunday, September 8th we will offer two services identical in their messaging and distinct in their offerings.

The two service times and what each offers will be:

  • 9 AM Worship Service - Offering childcare for all ages 0-3rd grade

  • 10 AM Worship Service - Offering childcare ONLY for children under 4 years old

We are excited to better extend the good news of the Gospel to our community.

The reality of our current capacity restricts our continued growth. We long to see new families continue to investigate and join Living Fellowship Church as they enter into a flourishing relationship with Jesus. It’s our hope that everyone who attends on Sunday feels that they’re welcome from the moment they park their cars and walk in to the many moments of interaction they have.

We’ve been fortunate to see our church body grow and deepen during the summer, a time when most churches experience sustained attendance and attrition. Instead, we see new families eager to find a church that wants to invest in them relationally and partner with them in their walk with Jesus.

In considering our mission, the move to two services was clear as a second service time allows us to:

  1. Make Room for More: We want everyone to feel that there is room for them to be known every Sunday without worrying about whether there will be enough seats.

  2. Creating More Intentional Environments: Our time in between services will become an intentional space for connection as we create a breakfast/coffee bar to blend service times with community building.

  3. Continuing to Provide the Safest Spaces for All Children: As we welcome new families our children’s ministry cares for more children than ever before. Moving to two services will help us maintain a safe and nurturing environment for our youngest members, ensuring that they have the space they need to learn and grow.

We invite you into this new chapter.

Come join us, there’s plenty of room for you.

As the Fall is here we invite you to be a part of LFC as we not only grow in our Sunday expressions of worship, but also in our weekly expressions of faith, service, community, and study. Want to be more connected to a church seeking to know and make known the love of Christ? Come by and say hello.

We are praying for you and hope you’ll consider seeing the goodness of our God at either the 9 AM or the 10:45 AM service times.

We hope that Living Fellowship Church is always striving to be a church, where we are called to extend His life-giving invitation to everyone in our community. Through two services we can say we are better able to exist in our mission.

As people in a living fellowship with Christ and with one another, we are thrilled to see how God will receive the glory through this little church with a big heart to know Him well.

Lastly, thank you to all our volunteers + service team members!

While there is an enormous amount of celebration around our growth, we recognize the increased demand for our volunteers and service team.

Thank you to everyone who is enabling us to grow and maintain health. Thank you to all of you for your prayers, your investment, and the giving of your gifts.

If you would like to serve with LFC, we would love to hear about what roles excite you and get you equipped to feel confident in simple ways to help Living Fellowship Church flourish.

What time do you think you and your family will attend?

We can’t wait to see you on any Sunday!
